Wow, it is unbelievable, in a few more days a year will have gone by since my last post. What a year it has been. I won't began to update all of it on one evening. I will start adding post of our year a little at a time. I hope to share in each post what God has taught me in this year. He is an amazing God and worthy to be praised!

On Saturday, Ashley had to work, which meant it was Ron Jonnie and I.....I wanted to shop....that didn't particularly sound like a guy thing to do, sooooo....I went to Macy's for 5 hours and the boys went to the Museum of Modern Art. I know they enjoyed that so much more than 9 floors of Macy's. Here are the pics Ron made on their adventure:

One of the most beatuiful sights in New York City at this time of the year is the Christmas Window Displays. Here are Saks 5th Ave. As you can see they are very colorful. People actually stand in line to walk past these windows!!

My Mother used to tell me how wonderful Christmas shopping was in the Big Apple. The sparkle still shines in her eyes when she talks about it. Well, we just returned from our first New York City Christmas Shopping Trip....Wow....Incredible. We had a wonderful time with Ashley and Jonnie. I think we wore them out. We arrived in New York on Thursday evening, Dec 3 and left on Monday Dec 7. I will be adding post for the next couple of days telling the story of our trip and sharing pics. We just arrived home so I am too tired to get it all done tonight. I hope you enjoy and feel just a little of Christmas Spirit in New York City.....
We arrived at Ashleys apartment a little bit before she did. As soon as she arrived home we decided to go to Rockefellow Center to see the Christmas Tree. It was packed with people, they had just lit the tree the evening before.

This was one of the drummer boy statues which stood around the skating rink.
Ashley and I had our pic with the drummer boy. One of the things I noticed about the decorations in the city was they would have fresh greenery laying on the ground surrounding the decoration. The smell was wonderful. Beautiful.....This would make a beautiful Christmas Card. Just picture yourself standing there, you smell the scent of Christmas from the greenery in the decorations nearby, here the Christmas music in the background as you are watching the skaters go by.....Sleigh bells ring, are you listing.
Ron and I are so excited to be there, yeah!!

Today is Hog day at the Ramsey house. We got to watch the game with Jenny, Aubri, Erica and Brant. Jenny and Bri came up from Fort Worth for a few days to visit. Wes stayed home with lots to do at work and school. We have had some really good times with Jenny and Bri the past couple of days. Below are some pics I captured during the game.

Darrel and Cindy Lewis rode up with us. They met us in Ozark, we rode to Paris to the Grapevine Restaurant for lunch, and then went on up to the Lodge.

It was a great day, with family, friends, and lots of fun times.
